Bill Capobianco returns to Florida Premier FC

Florida Premier FC is excited to announce the return of Bill Capobianco to the Club as our new Academy/Technical Director.

Bill is a homegrown player who played for West Pasco and the Clearwater Chargers as a youth. He was selected to the ODP State team and Region III team. While playing as a senior for Hudson High School, Bill was selected as Pasco County Player of the year and for the ALL-State high school team. Bill went on to play at the collegiate level at Methodist College in NC. While there, he was selected as an All-Conference Player for three years, and as an Academic All-American his senior year. He continued his soccer career after college by playing professional for various USISL teams.

After a season in Germany playing for Optic Rathenow, a Div 3 squad, Bill decided to hang up his pro boots and bring his soccer expertise to the coaching ranks at West Pasco. He coached at West Pasco for 15 years and is considered a cornerstone of the Club where he served in many positions—DOC, Director of Training and head coach. He created many programs and clinics and is best known for his summer Finishing and Finesse Camp. Bill moved down the road for a couple of years to serve at West Florida Flames where he was the head coach of several teams. He is returning to West Pasco FC as the new Academy/Technical Director and brings many new initiatives and ideas for the development of Florida Premier FC’s youth! Bill currently holds a USSF “B” coaching license and needs only to pass his final exam to receive his USSF “A” license. Welcome Back Bill!
