Athletic Trainers

Jon Nixon is a licensed athletic trainer with a breadth of experience working in outpatient sports medicine/orthopedics, physical therapy clinics and sport outreach. His interest in athletics, specifically soccer, began at the age of three, with his father serving as his coach during his youth. He continued to play soccer for both school and club teams throughout high school, was a starter on his collegiate team, and spent a year coaching. His passion for soccer has continued into his career, as he joined the PT Solutions team as one of the Florida Premier Soccer Academy athletic trainers. He is primarily stationed at the Collier Parkway fields and provides referrals to various PT Solutions locations throughout Hillsborough and Pasco counties. He graduated with his B.S. in Athletic Training at King’s College, PA in 2019 and moved to Florida with his high school sweetheart later that year so she could pursue her doctorate in psychology. In addition to playing soccer, Jon enjoys mountain biking, Golfing, Lifting weights, and competing in Spartan Races!

Kayli Castiglia began with PT Solutions in August 2021 She is going into her 4th season as an Athletic Trainer with Florida Premier FC. She attended East Stroudsburg University, College of Health Sciences, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a minor in Sports & Exercise Psychology. In her free time, she likes to spend a lot of time outdoors with family and friends, she likes to branch out and attend different festivals within the Tampa Bay Area.
